## Specific system information

### How to run games

Games need 2 different files to work: a file of type "*rom"* and a file of type "*artwork"*.\
\
Place the rom file in .zip format in the `\roms\lcdgames` folder.

Place the artwork in the `\saves\mame\artwork`folder, files must have exactly the same name as the game rom file and be in .zip format.

Then, in Retrobat, go to the **Game & Watch** system and select the emulator for the game.

{% hint style="info" %}
By default, LCD Games is grouped with Games & Watch system, you can ungroup it by following the [guide](/navigation/system-view-and-game-view.md#grouped-systems).
